Responsibilities

Guide progress of the category through the best fit, fabric, fit, finish, style and lifestyle athleisure development

Research and monitor the consumer and marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competition

Manage team to develop on-brand, trend-right product that inspires equity and profitability for the Beyond Yoga brand and upholds our aesthetic standards

Collaborate with Sr. Director in developing seasonal concepts and color stories

Understand current selling and consider when developing into future trends

Manage team execution of data integrity: protos, commercial samples and production

Develop relationships, leading collaboration and partnerships within Design, and across Merchandising, and Product Development

Develop the strategy and progress to meet seasonal product assortment needs and COGS targets

Strategize and lead GTM timelines, processes and deliverables

Design product with a sustainable mindset and andNet Positive without compromising aesthetics

Promote technical design packs communicating style, size, proportion, scale, and manage fittings and product development

Required

Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, or a combination of college education and industry-related work experience may be used as a substitute

8+ years experience as a designer, responsible for all facets of design

4+ yrs experience specifically as a women's athleisure designer

Expertise in textiles and product development; working knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, denim fabric construction, finishing techniques, and processes

Proficient on all design platforms – Adobe CC
