Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced manufacturing software systems and tools to support production efficiency and scalability
Ensure the security and protection of core intellectual property across all manufacturing software platforms
Integrate data systems seamlessly with other manufacturing and enterprise systems to enhance data flow and visibility
Leverage emerging technologies to design, automate, and optimize manufacturing test processes
Develop and maintain robust web services to support manufacturing operations and system connectivity

Required

5+ years of combined professional experience in software development or related fields
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, Python, or C/C++
Hands-on experience with database systems, including Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Proficient in the .NET development environment
Familiarity with common software design patterns such as MVC and MVVM
Development experience across both Windows and Linux operating systems
Solid understanding of communication, networking, and messaging protocols
Proven experience designing and supporting high-availability systems
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%

Preferred

Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent field
Advanced, developer-level proficiency in the .NET environment
Experience with IoT systems and SECS/GEM communication standards is a plus
Background in high-volume, world-class design and manufacturing processes for consumer electronic products is highly desirable
Experience with image processing and computer vision technologies
Hands-on experience with industrial robotics, control systems, and systems integration
