Responsibilities
Spend time at an active construction site and observe how a project progresses from plans to completion
Visit multiple properties to understand leasing operations, customer service, and day-to-day community management
Review financial data, analyze trends, and learn how our accounting and finance teams support our portfolio
Explore how we strategically manage and optimize a diverse, long-standing real estate portfolio
Gain exposure to real estate legal processes by assisting with document review, understanding lease and contract structures, observing compliance procedures, and learning how regulatory requirements impact property operations
Qualification
Required
Completion of at least two years of undergraduate coursework toward a bachelor's degree (majors in Real Estate, Hospitality, Construction, Finance, Legal Studies, or related fields are a plus)
Strong academic performance (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, eager-to-learn mindset with the ability to take initiative
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between multiple sites; this is an onsite role that requires travel within Long Island, Queens, and Brooklyn
