Director, Demand Partnerships (P&C)
MediaAlpha is seeking an experienced Director to manage and grow key Property & Casualty (P&C) advertiser relationships. This role focuses on strategic data analysis, proactive partner support, and identifying growth opportunities, requiring a strong client-service orientation and analytical sophistication.
Responsibilities
Own and execute comprehensive account strategies for a portfolio of P&C advertisers
Understand partner KPIs, objectives, and ROI targets and perform analysis to recommend campaign optimizations to internal team members and directly to partners
Identify account-level growth opportunities by understanding partner business priorities, competitive landscape, and market dynamics
Lead strategic account planning and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) that align MediaAlpha's capabilities with partner business objectives
Own end-to-end delivery of strategic client initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, analytics, and operations
Build and foster strong relationships across multiple levels of client organizations, from day-to-day contacts through executives
Proactively discover problems and opportunities through open-ended account review and data analysis
Identify and champion new product development opportunities based on deep understanding of partner needs, market trends, advertiser feedback, and internal requirements
Challenge clients constructively, ask probing questions, and demonstrate confidence to navigate ambiguity
Resolve partner issues efficiently and proactively
Maintain expert-level knowledge of MediaAlpha's platform, advertising products, and technical capabilities to effectively position solutions
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in digital advertising with significant experience managing large, strategic accounts
Deep knowledge of performance marketing and programmatic advertising environments
Knowledge of the P&C insurance industry and understanding of the online advertising ecosystem
Proven track record managing Tier 1 client relationships and driving measurable business results
Demonstrated ability to structure sophisticated analysis to address complex, open-ended business questions
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects involving technical and business stakeholders
Strong proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools; capacity to synthesize large data sets into clear strategic insights. (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation)
Strong understanding of advertising technologies, platforms, and technical integrations
Exceptional presentation and persuasive skills with ability to confidently engage audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Self-starter who can independently set and execute on strategic priorities while managing multiple competing priorities
Collaborative team player with an ownership mindset and commitment to both partner success and MediaAlpha's business objectives
Intellectually curious with meticulous attention to detail and a drive for continuous improvement
Preferred
Experience with RTB systems, APIs, and programmatic advertising platforms preferred
