Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and triaging security alerts using tools like Microsoft Security Console, Darktrace, and Rapid7

Support vulnerability management by reviewing prioritized findings and helping deploy remediation solutions

Participate in incident response activities, including documentation and escalation of security events via FreshService

Conduct phishing investigations and contribute to awareness campaigns using platforms like KnowBe4

Help maintain and audit digital assets, firewall configurations, and Active Directory for security gaps

Contribute to the development and refinement of security SOPs and policy documentation

Perform onboarding/offboarding cyber audit checks and assist with identity and access management tasks

Stay current on cybersecurity trends and assist in reporting metrics and insights to the SecOps team

Required

Pursuing degree in Information Security and/or Cybersecurity

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent

Skilled in the use of computer applications such as Excel, PowerShell, Wireshark (ie – packet tracing)

Professional or academic experience in Information Security and/or Cybersecurity

Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently
