Open Rank Clinical Professor and Program Director for PSP (Program in School Psychology)
Northeastern University is a global research university recognized for its experiential approach to education. The Department of Applied Psychology is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track clinical professor to serve as the program director for the NASP-approved MS/CAGS Program in School Psychology, responsible for directing the program, teaching graduate courses, and providing service and leadership within the department and university.
Education
Responsibilities
Directing the PSP (e.g., management of enrollment planning, curriculum, admissions)
Teaching graduate courses in school psychology
Providing service and leadership to the Department, College, University, community and profession
Qualification
Required
Earned doctorate in School Psychology, or a closely related field
Eligible to be certified as a school psychologist in the state of Massachusetts
Experience teaching at the graduate level in applied psychology
Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, organization, and interpersonal skills
Record of effective teaching
Demonstrated commitment to creating culturally responsive and supportive environments for students from diverse backgrounds
