Responsibilities

Lay out, fabricate, and assemble pipe systems from blueprints, using tools (saws, benders) and techniques (welding, brazing, soldering, threading)

Fabricate or repair parts by operating machine shop tools (lathe, mill, shear, press); troubleshoot and replace mechanical seals and bearings

Troubleshoot and repair fluid/vacuum pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic control systems, power transmission, and packaging equipment

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, diagnose steam trap problems, and operate/repair high purity water equipment

Use the CMMS system to reconcile demand and preventative maintenance work orders

Possess and maintain an applicable license (i.e., Boiler Operator’s)
