Mid/Senior System Administrator
Belay Technologies is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in systems automation and full stack development. They are seeking a System Administrator to provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, while managing day-to-day operations and resolving issues for various client/server/storage/network devices.

Responsibilities
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems
Manage IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Qualification
Required
TS/SCI with polygraph is required
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Mid. Level: Ten (10) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the federal Government is required
Senior Level: Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required
Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines
VCenter/VMWare
AWS Experience
VPC, EC2, S3
Linux and Windows operating systems
CentOS, RedHat, Windows 10, Window Server
DNS Experience
Scripting languages (e.g. Perl, bash, etc.)
Ansible Playbooks
Jenkins – Continuous Integration /Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)
Excellent communications skills
Working with the ISSE and the accreditation of the system, handling Service desk tickets and heading up the Global searches system
