Select Commercial Lines Regional Manager
USI Insurance Services is seeking a Select Commercial Lines Regional Manager responsible for managing the operational activities of the Account Management team in the assigned region. The role includes ensuring high client retention, supporting sales processes, and developing the team through effective management and training.

Responsibilities
Responsible for full-cycle recruitment, management, and development of Select Commercial Lines Account Management team. Includes training, coaching, and performance management
Keep account management team informed on industry trends and USI processes through regular team and individual meetings
Accountable for team achieving 92% or above client retention. Regularly meet with account managers to strategize on upcoming renewals
Promote account rounding and cross-sell/referral opportunities
Work with regional and national leadership to meet corporate profit and growth objectives
Optimize Select Commercial Lines book of business via client service model. Comprised of account management, outsourcing, and segmentation
Develop and maintain carrier relationships to renew policies timely and solve client and account management issues
Maintain quality control utilizing reports to renew policies, avoid lapses in coverage, and achieve service goals. Perform periodic quality audits
Adhere to company’s credit and collection policy in invoicing and pursuing prompt client payments
Oversee team workload and maintain appropriate staffing levels
Create and maintain relationships with regional peers to foster internal stewardship. Expedite segmentation transfers working in conjunction with both the regional project manager and commercial lines middle market managers
Develop effective interdepartmental communication strategies. Foster team behavior and a sales-oriented culture
Integrate new acquisition personnel and clients to Select Commercial Lines service model and processes
Support new business growth and assign service team resources
Qualification
Required
7 years + experience in Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Agency
Ability to manage others effectively
In-depth knowledge of agency management system functionality, workflow procedures, underwriting, sales, and service processes
Must hold a state Property & Casualty insurance license
Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables
Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products
Proven ability to work in a fast paced, team environment with minimal instruction and a high degree of accuracy
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage and negotiate multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred
College degree preferred
Prior managerial experience preferred
Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred or expected to pursue a designation
Knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight preferred, but not required
