Amazon is seeking an innovative Store Designer to join their Store Development Team for retail stores. This role involves implementing and customizing brand design standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create world-class shopping experiences.

Responsibilities

Translating brand design standards and concepts in an innovative yet fiscally responsible way
Completing test fits and feasibility studies for your designs
Working with key internal and external stakeholders in the production of comprehensive design development package and documents as needed to communicate design
Coordinating with construction team on budget considerations and value engineering efforts
Communicating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Driving and creating Schematic Design Packages
Reviewing construction documents, shop drawings and landlord documentation
Providing Construction Administrative support as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in architecture or interior design
5+ years of commercial retail design or architecture experience
Intermediate Revit skills required

Preferred

Grocery experience strongly preferred
Architectural or Interior Design FF&E background preferred
Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Enscape, SketchUp, SmartSheet
Knowledge of current sustainability trends and practices preferred
Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish
Ability to manage change though multiple projects in various phases of design
Experience with design development, construction documents, permitting and construction administration
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an extremely fast paced, ambiguous environment
