Responsibilities
Executing established standard operating procedures (SOPs), which includes cleaning laboratory glassware using appropriate techniques, preparing and processing organic solutions, and handling electrical and mechanical components in our system
Accurately document all laboratory experiments, including objectives, methods, results, and observations. Ensure traceability and reproducibility of experiments
Organize and maintain laboratory parts, supplies, and equipment. Conduct regular inventory checks and reorder supplies as necessary
Prepare reports or summaries of experimental findings as needed for internal review and collaboration. Communicate effectively regarding laboratory needs, issues, or changes
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., chemistry, biology, biochemistry, engineering) or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience
Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques involving organic chemicals and solvents, and additional training will be provided
Organizational skills and ability to manage inventory
Ability to follow safety guidelines for handling hazardous chemicals, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and operation of lab safety equipment like fume hoods
Good documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred
Experience in organic chemistry, optics, and crystallization
Experience in slicing and polishing brittle samples such as glass and ceramics
