Catering Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Identifies and develops business opportunities through various means including making outside sales calls, conducting internet research, networking at local events, offering tours of the rental spaces, and attending trade shows
Manages catering event reservations by preparing requests for proposal, booking business reservations, and finalizing billing
Develops and implements sales strategies, creates marketing plans, and assists with new product development
Responds to customer inquiries; develops and maintains internal and external relationships to enhance customer service and further university catering goals
Prepares materials for periodic sales meetings and presents updates on catering and events sales activity
Assists in the preparation and monitoring of department budget
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
Moderate amount of experience working in sales or other related experience
Ability to work nights and weekends
Preferred
Experience in catering
