This role involves delivering high-quality customer service and performing preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration of Hach devices at customer sites, primarily in municipal and industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work

Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems

Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure

Executes administrative activities in support of service visits

Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc. Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2)

50-75% travel within a 2-hour radius of Cheyenne, WY. You can expect to have up to on average 1-3 nights away each week with company-paid accommodations and meals

Qualification

Required

HS Diploma required; Associates/Technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience

Basic mechanical aptitude - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair

You have a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record required

Preferred

2 or more years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred

Training period: comprehensive 10-week training period - 8 weeks in the field working side by side with dedicated trainer & 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.

3 days off per week! After completion of training, your schedule will consist of 4 shifts per week at 10-hour days based on workload demand.
