Responsibilities

Leads the planning and ensures monitoring and control for assigned development programs

Responsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical performance for all engineering efforts

Ensures all project deliverables are developed with high quality and delivered on time

Manages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the program

Conducts monthly Engineering Status Reviews

Manages the resolution of technical issues

Ensures that team members are recognized for their contributions

Takes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issues

Assists in Proposal and ROM development

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire

U.S. citizenship is required

8 years project management experience leading hardware and software development teams

5 years technical experience; preferably with embedded systems

Significant experience using Microsoft Project

Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies

Proven organizational and time management skills

Proven communication skills

Strong leadership & mentoring skills
