Senior IT Consultant
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior IT Consultant to provide advanced technical support to its executive offices. The role involves diagnosing complex computing issues, configuring end user devices, and training junior staff within a mixed environment of Apple and Windows devices.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolves complex computing issues and provides expert-level technical support
Configures end user devices
Handles escalated issues from junior staff and trains junior staff
Maintaining/configuring computing equipment located in multiple locations
Extensive knowledge of operating systems and networking technology
Function with standard PC and Mac equipment located throughout the University as well as telephony systems and software applications
Written and verbal communication
Interpersonal relations
Analyzing and organizing information
Planning technology roadmap for area supported
Proficient knowledge of IT
Frequent travel between buildings on campus for meetings/events and satellite locations supported
Installation of office systems as well as on-going troubleshooting
Conduct training presentations
Lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs
Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
Qualification
Required

Providing advanced technical support to University executive offices
Ensuring seamless operation across a mixed environment of Apple and Windows devices
Strong emphasis on Apple hardware and mobile device support, including iOS configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with enterprise systems

Responsive service delivery
Ability to manage complex technical issues in a high-profile academic setting
Maintaining/configuring computing equipment located in multiple locations
Extensive knowledge of operating systems and networking technology
