Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Nuclear Engineering
The University of Utah's John and Marcia Price College of Engineering is seeking a career-line lecturer faculty member in Nuclear Engineering. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in nuclear engineering as well as core civil and environmental engineering coursework.

Responsibilities
Teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in nuclear engineering, including (but not limited to) nuclear fundamentals, nuclear reactor theory, radiation detection, and the nuclear fuel cycle
Offer key core undergraduate courses in civil and environmental engineering, such as statics and fluid mechanics, in rotation with colleagues
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous course improvement, mentor and advise students, and actively engage in departmental service and outreach activities
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in nuclear engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a closely related field by the start date
Excellent communication skills
Dedication to student success
Commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching
