Work on the instant messaging application used by every financial professional

Drive impactful technical decisions in re-architecting a critical Product

Extend IB’s content discovery offerings with new features

Qualification

Required

4+ years working experience with Java, C++ and TypeScript

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience

High degree of collaboration within the team and with our stakeholders

Experience in distributed systems and architecture design

Preferred

Experience with search technologies, notably Apache Solr or ElasticSearch

Experience with building real-time messaging streaming, notably Apache Kafka

A strong sense of ownership and a passion to build user-centered products

A desire to continuously grow as an individual and together with the team (architecture, testing, learning, developer experience)
