Responsibilities
Responsible as subject-matter expert in developing sourcing strategies, managing new and existing Category plans for Regional and Global categories to achieve category maturity, targeted savings and specific annual goals. Apply the category and market analysis strategies and work with key stakeholders to drive and lead a proactive view for opportunities and value. (30%)
Responsible for negotiations with identified suppliers for contract completion and key performance requirements. Negotiate value-driven contracts with identified suppliers, and participate in development of process to validate supplier savings, including guaranteed savings, consignment and other savings programs (15%)
Lead cross-functional teams to obtain consensus for the strategy applying the approval processes and Manufacturing Leadership/Decision Committee approvals. Position will operate in a global matrixed environment and will work closely with the global and local management teams. (15%)
Manage preferred supplier relationships, including regular supplier review meetings and resolution of contractual issues. Responsible for overall Supplier Relationship management as it applies to responsible categories and support required risk-based reviews for qualification and supplier maintenance. (10%)
Integrate the supplier into operational process of Arkema, including Sustainable and Cybersecurity requirements. (10%)
Ensure compliance with all purchasing policies and procedures, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations and other applicable corporate requirements and procedures. (10%)
Accountable for communicating with and involvement of business management on an on-going basis. (10%)
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
A minimum of 7 years' experience in category management and strategic sourcing of Corporate Services Procurement, preferably in the industrial markets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

E-Sourcing, Risk Based Qualifications, E-Catalogs and P2P process knowledge
Advanced negotiation, communication and presentation skills

Excellent analytical skill
Ability to lead through influence
Excellent communication skills (aural, verbal, written; both informal and formal)
Preferred
SAP experience preferred
Six Sigma Certification preferred
