Responsibilities

Lead sales growth initiatives HARIBO of America’s business, nationwide, for the newly redesigned Small Format team which focuses on both the Drug channel and the Value channel
Establish and execute a vision for our Small Format (Drug & Value) business, driving a customer centric, high accountability culture that supports appropriate risk taking and decision making
Development, lead, coach, and mentor a small team of National Account Managers & Business Development Managers
Accountable for joint business planning, executing brand strategies, and influencing the four P’S – Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion
Identify margin improvement opportunities and developing strategies to support
Accountable for forecasting and budgeting based on proper metrics
Accountable and responsible for company growth targets with a solutions mindset, collaborative approach with cross functional partners
Ensures compliance with standards, processes, procedures, and policies, holding other accountable to HARIBO ‘s high standards

Required

Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of experience in sales, business development, category management, marketing, or other related roles within the consumer packaged goods/CPG industry
Proficient in Nielsen, IRI, Circana or other related syndicated analytical tools
Located within a commutable distance to a major airport
This is a remote, field based position that requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with multi-night overnight stays

Preferred

Prior experience in candy, confectionery, or salty snacks strongly preferred
Prior experience calling on the Value channel and/or Drug channel
Prior supervisory experience – people management/people leadership
MBA, Master's Degree in Business Administration
