Responsibilities

Experience of operating helical pile installation equipment
Experience operating support equipment (tele-handler, skid steer, forklift, front end loader, man lift)
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to motivate, lead, teach and train on proper work and safety procedures
Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
Read tape measure and use a water level
Current driver’s license
Written and oral communication skills
Excels at computer skills
General mechanical skills with respect to setting helical pile drive head attachments
Maintain required project paperwork
Flexibility in work schedule and travel
Maintain all operator qualifications
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years in heavy civil experience and managing helical pile projects
Understanding and experience in industrial civil construction
Civil construction (understand survey, rigging behind civil foundation equipment, safety)

Preferred

Deep Foundation experience a plus (ie. Helical Piles, driven piles, auger cast-in-place piles)
Quality and safety leadership, conducting JSA's, toolbox talks, incident reporting, daily logs
Supervising surveyors and welders, leading sub-contractors
