Senior Systems Analyst
Cape Fox Federal Contracting Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Analyst to join their team in support of a federal government client. Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, integrate, and maintain Information Systems (ISs), business applications, and enterprise data solutions to support government mission requirements
Provide lifecycle support of software, applications, endpoints, and cybersecurity artifacts, including analysis, design, development, deployment, and user support
Perform operations and maintenance (O&M) support for systems, applications, and technical architectures, including database updates, software upgrades, and patch management
Conduct system performance analysis and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability
Coordinate with system administrators and developers to plan, test, and implement system changes and upgrades in accordance with Government-approved processes
Develop logical data models, data interface specifications, online query and report specifications, and data validation methods for Information Systems and enterprise data warehouses
Evaluate business processes, identify automation opportunities, and recommend technical solutions that improve data integration, analytics, and reporting capabilities
Work with other teams, such as programmers, to debug and maintain systems
Perform analysis, design, and provide support for database applications, software, and technical architectures
Perform data migration, conversion, and integration between multiple systems and platforms, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with DoD/Navy standards
Support verification and validation (V&V) activities for all system development, enhancement, and modification efforts
Provide system documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical reports in accordance with contract deliverables (CDRL requirements)
Collaborate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure system compliance with DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and other DoD cybersecurity policies
Conduct risk and impact assessments for proposed system changes and coordinate implementation with Government stakeholders
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, generate reports, and recommend corrective actions for system optimization
Support business intelligence and data warehouse initiatives by designing dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that visualize operational data
Develop and maintain data governance and quality assurance processes to ensure consistent and accurate data across enterprise systems
Provide user support and training to ensure effective use of systems and applications; assist in troubleshooting complex system issues
Participate in In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and Change Advisory Boards (CABs), providing system performance updates and technical input
Maintain detailed technical documentation, configuration management records, and system baselines to support audits and compliance reviews
Ensure all systems and processes adhere to government policies, information assurance requirements, and configuration management procedures
Qualification
Required
Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to the implementation of business and technical requirements; analyzing, planning, and development; application testing; and database management support
Qualified experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM's System Architect
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
Must have Information Assurance Technical Level III certification
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
