Manufacturing Engineer I

As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you will contribute to process development and quality improvement in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance with customer specifications.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing process plans with guidance from senior engineers, specifying sequence, technique, equipment, and tooling requirements
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches to ensure product compliance with customer requirements
Assist in process capability study and analysis for CNC Program creation or improvements
Support the design, engineering and implementation of tooling for manufacturing processes
Work closely with shop floor associates to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen or Six Sigma to optimize processes
Review and recommend modifications to customer blueprints and other documentation with supervision from senior engineers
Maintain compliance with Pursuit Aerospace’s quality systems, safety protocols, and operational standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
Preferred
At least 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience
Experience working in an AS9100 environment
Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering degree is preferred
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and technical documents
Familiarity with CNC programming and tooling design
Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite
