Billing Specialist
Advisors Excel is a fast paced, innovative company that seeks to service independent financial advisors in a multitude of areas within their business. They are looking for a Billing Specialist to join their Accounting team to support billing operations and financial processes, ensuring accuracy and excellent service. The role involves handling various billing tasks, maintaining accurate data, and assisting with special projects.
Responsibilities
Research and respond to inquiries from internal and external sources
Maintain accurate billing data
Assist with monthly billing processes
Answer questions regarding billing calculations and commission history
Prepare and send monthly statements
Enter vendor bills and process payments weekly
Assist with accounting tasks and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in banking, accounting, or financial services
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfort learning new technology
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite
