Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for attending meetings, assisting with functional tasks within the department
The intern together with their mentor will identify a key program to focus on for the final internship project
Deliverables during internship will include assigned tasks and presentation of final project at the end of the summer internship program which will include a presentation in the form of a poster, abstract or presentation
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a B.S. or M.S. (e.g., an enrolled student working towards a degree) in a scientific discipline of life sciences, chemistry, biology, biotechnology, materials science, etc.,) with an interest in medical, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical research & development
Strong organizational and analytical abilities
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain a sense of urgency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
