Responsibilities

Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks under strict deadlines and shifting priorities
Demonstrated dependability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong proofreading and editing skills
Ability to compose clear, accurate correspondence and documents with attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels, both internal and external
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to independently prepare professional documents and produce reports and presentations
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
Ability to handle difficult interactions with professionalism, tact, and discretion
Experience handling sensitive or classified information, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), with discretion and diplomacy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times
Experience supporting teams in areas such as calendar management, travel coordination (domestic and foreign), procurement, meeting logistics, and timekeeping
Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative to identify, develop, and implement effective solutions
Demonstrated ability to balance long-term projects with urgent requests and shifting priorities
Proven ability to foster teamwork and collaboration across groups
Dependable, adaptable, and able to manage interruptions calmly and effectively

Position requires a High School Diploma and 5 years related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation

Preferred

Familiarity with LANL business systems, including Oracle, Ariba/purchase card procurements, the Foreign Visits Tracking System, badging and clearance systems, SharePoint, and MS Teams
Experience with Concur or a similar business travel system and familiarity with government travel policies
In-depth understanding of Laboratory organizational structures, operations, policies, and procedures
Active DOE Q clearance
