Responsibilities

Train in the discovery of infectious diseases therapeutics including small molecule and vaccine candidates

Understand the biology of infection and develop therapies to combat them

Receive instruction in grant writing, rigor and reproducibility, ethics and mentoring

Participate in short-term internships in pharmaceutical companies or visits to international clinical sites

Collaborate with preceptors to provide a cross-disciplinary approach to the training program
