Responsibilities

Enhance planning knowledge by helping communities throughout the state

Work side by side with professional planning staff

Attend client meetings and participate in public engagement activities

Coordinate activities for municipal and public projects

Research development codes

Coordinate and collaborate with a variety of professionals

Qualification

Urban PlanningArcGISAdobe InDesignMicrosoft OfficeDiversity of ThoughtCommunication Skills

Required

Enrolled in and completed at minimum sophomore year of a Bachelor of Science or Masters' degree program in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, Geography or related field

Basic knowledge of development and land use codes/ordinances

Basic experience using Adobe (InDesign), ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office suite of products

Belief that Trust, Humility, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, and Discipline are important values to embrace and live out

Commitment to diversity of thought, contributing new ideas and perspectives while also respecting different points of view

Legal authorization to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for an employment-based visa
