Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and integration solutions
Implement and support EDI transactions for healthcare and benefits data
Collaborate with product, engineering, and client teams to deliver high-quality integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data exchange and system interoperability
Stay current with emerging technologies, and contribute to innovation initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience delivering production software in professional environments and at least 4 years of professional software development experience
6–10 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Python
Hands-on experience with EDI standards and healthcare data formats (e.g., X12, HIPAA transactions)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability over formal credentials—if you've shipped complex systems and can ramp up fast, we'd love to hear from you
Preferred
Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA)
Experience with APIs and data integration frameworks
Experience with AWS cloud platform
Familiarity with health/benefit plan integrations is a significant plus
Experience with AI/ML technologies is a bonus
