Account Executive - B2B AI Transformation Sales

AlphaStaffHCM is seeking an Account Executive to join their client's team, which specializes in developing tailored AI-enabled systems and workflow solutions. The role focuses on driving new business across small to mid-sized enterprises requiring customized technical solutions while also managing and expanding existing client relationships.

Responsibilities

Build and execute a targeted sales strategy to drive new technical consulting engagements
Prospect, qualify, and convert mid-market and enterprise clients needing custom digital solutions
Lead consultative discovery to understand business problems and translate them into solution scopes
Present proposals that define project plans, resource needs, timelines, and business impact
Manage and grow existing accounts through solution expansion and follow-on project work
Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline tracking, and account plans
Work with leadership and marketing on solution positioning, use cases, and sales materials
Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Contribute to the long-term framework for hiring and developing future sales team members

Required

5+ years of sales experience in technology services, consulting, systems integration, or custom software development
Bachelor's degree
Strong record of selling project-based technical work (not only SaaS products)
Experience selling to C-suite level leaders
Ability to run consultative discovery, define business cases, and translate needs into scoped technical solutions
Skilled in pipeline development, forecasting, and multi-stakeholder deal cycles
Ability to understand technical solution components, including AI concepts, data workflows, and system integrations
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

Preferred

Background with firms like Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, Cognizant, Slalom, or boutique technical consultancies
Experience in digital transformation, AI-enabled automation, or technical implementation projects
MBA or advanced degree
Technical degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with marketing automation tools
