Responsibilities
Lead a high-performing management team, and their reports of hardware, software/firmware, mechanical, and test engineers globally, fostering a culture of innovation, and continuous learning
Lead engineering strategy for data center infrastructure solutions, including power high voltage DC power to the rack, in-row cooling, and connectivity products tailored for hyperscale, colocation and enterprise environments
Collaborate with data center customers and internal stakeholders to understand evolving requirements in hyperscale, edge computing, modular solutions, energy efficiency, and remote management conversion
Oversee new product development introductions (NPI), ensuring alignment with customer needs, technology trends, and Eaton’s vitality and revenue targets
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Product Management to ensure seamless product lifecycle management and customer satisfaction
Own and initiatives to reduce product costs while maintaining performance and quality
Collaborate with Product Management to maintain a technology roadmap, with emphasis on digitalization, energy efficiency, and other technological trends
Manage engineering activities across global locations (design, manufacturing, support, etc.), ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing
Champion Eaton tools & systems to drive efficiency in engineering practices
Ensure D-IT product platforms meet the performance, scalability, and reliability demands of modern data center environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred: Master's in Engineering or MBA)
Minimum of 15 years progressive experience within product engineering for a multinational, dynamic industry leader in a comparable size/scope role
Expertise leading engineering teams developing data center infrastructure solutions tailored for hyperscale or colocation environments
Experience as a leader of leaders with global oversight
Experience with power electronics, digital technologies, product development & lifecycle management
New Product Introduction Experience
Proven track record in building high performance teams, leading cross-functionally, developing and retaining employees, and driving a culture of innovation
Preferred
