Responsibilities

Lead sourcing initiatives for warehousing services, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management to support operational efficiency and scalability

Analyze warehousing spend and market dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall supply chain performance

Work closely with logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure warehousing procurement strategies align with broader business objectives

Establish and monitor KPIs for warehouse service providers, ensuring adherence to performance standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems, mitigate operational risks by diversifying the supplier base, and develop contingency plans for critical warehousing functions

Drives a positive employee experience through leadership by way of employee development and coaching

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required

2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership is required

Extensive background in strategic procurement or logistics, with a focus on warehousing operations, vendor management, and service execution

Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations and managing contracts with warehousing providers and third-party logistics partners

Deep understanding of warehousing markets, inventory management principles, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Proficiency in procurement tools and analytics platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau)

Strong interpersonal, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
