They are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health & Safety Intern to join their dynamic EHS team, offering valuable hands-on experience in the field of EHS. This internship provides the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that can create a positive impact on Daikin Applied’s HVAC Development.

Responsibilities

Complete basic Industrial Hygiene monitoring including noise assessment and ergonomic force measurements

Conduct a basic ergonomic assessment of workstations and operations

Perform basic risk assessments (Job Safety Analysis, etc.) of manufacturing operations to identify hazards and implement effective controls

Participate in EHS inspections (wastewater, stormwater, satellite storage areas, etc.) and improve protocols and checklists for process improvement

Assist in New Hire Environmental Health and Safety Orientation

Required

Undergraduate student currently pursuing a bachelor's degree

Preferred

Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a similar degree program

Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
