3+ years expAmerican Fuji Seal is seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repairs on Fuji Seal equipment at customer sites across the U.S. This role involves troubleshooting technical equipment failures, providing customer training, and maintaining service logs while requiring up to 75% travel.

Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair SSL and PSL machinery at customer locations
Troubleshoot and resolve technical equipment failures via phone support and on-site visits
Provide customer training on equipment operation
Conduct testing and root cause analysis to ensure effective problem-solving
Provide technical feedback to improve products
Complete preventative maintenance and functional inspections
Maintain service logs and internal records in accordance with American Fuji Technical Services policies
Follow Health and Human Services, Environmental Health, and Safety requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned in an accurate and timely manner
Qualification
Required
Strong electrical and mechanical background with the ability to read blueprints and electrical documentation
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization
Ability to manage tasks and projects with minimal guidance
Willingness and ability to travel 80-100%, with flexibility for weekday and weekend travel
Ability to train on-site for 3-6 months before traveling independently
Associate degree in a related technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation) required
3-5 years of related experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support
Preferred
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell & Siemens) and networking
Familiarity with packaging equipment
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or field service role
Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred
