Corporate Development Analyst / Associate
Walters Hospitality is seeking a Corporate Development Analyst / Associate to support the Head of Corporate Development in sourcing, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities. This role involves evaluating acquisitions, supporting transactions, and managing relationships with venue owners and operators while gaining hands-on experience in deal execution and financial modeling.

Responsibilities
Support the evaluation of acquisition opportunities through financial analysis, market research, and due diligence
Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess acquisition economics, ROI, and performance metrics
Assist in conducting outreach to venue owners, operators, and industry stakeholders to source potential opportunities
Provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making and transaction execution
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners throughout deal processes
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization and attention to detail
Maintain organized systems for tracking outreach, deal pipelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth coordination
Work on other strategic finance initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed
Periodically travel to evaluate venues and collaborate with team members in person, while otherwise operating in a fully remote capacity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
1-2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, management consulting, or corporate finance
Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis) and PowerPoint (presentations and deal materials)
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in interacting with business owners, executives, and external partners
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proactive, intellectually curious, and comfortable making outreach calls and building new relationships
Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
Submit/complete background check; have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
