Responsibilities

Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Specialist and senior systems administrator within the Allied Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM), Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Oversees, installs and administers Tier 2 and 3 Core Microsoft Domain Services and software on classified and unclassified workstations and servers for SOFCOM activities throughout the NATO footprint
Leads work for new system implementation and lifecycle replacements
Coordinates automation requirements of SOFCOM personnel to locations in the supported AOR

Required

One year trial/probationary period may be required
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation

Must be able to satisfy the requirements of the 26JUL12 DODI 1400.25 V1230, DoD Civilian Personnel Management System: Employment in Foreign Areas and Employee Return Rights
This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance based on the duties and responsibilities identified
Position is designated as Emergency Essential
Pre-employment physical required
Position is subject to random drug-testing
This position is designated as an IT Level I/IAT II. Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain required baseline certification/recertification within 6 months of employment per DoD Directive 8570-01-M, AR 25-2
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized requirements described below
Specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience which demonstrates each of the four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving
Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application

Benefits

Payment of Relocation/Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).
