Responsibilities
Integrate Snowflake with IAM (Azure AD, Hashicorp Vault)
Integrate Snowflake monitoring to observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace)
Work with Linux batch scheduling (Autosys or equivalent)
Apply FinOps concepts for cost/performance optimization
Administer Snowpark containers, Snowpipe streaming, and Cortex AI services
Package new Snowflake features for enterprise use
Validate non-functional requirements (DR, backup)
Collaborate with app teams for seamless integration
Use CI/CD tools (GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
Perform Snowflake & AWS admin via Terraform/Ansible
Provide escalated support and consulting
Develop documentation, training, and job aids
Support DR and operational rotation activities
Report defects and coordinate fixes with Snowflake
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 years of related experience
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Snowflake admin expertise; SnowPro Core certification preferred
SQL programming & RDBMS experience (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Proficiency in Python & Bash on Linux
Basic Terraform/Ansible skills
CI/CD experience (GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
Basic AWS IaaS skills (Azure/GCP acceptable)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum & JIRA
Knowledge of ITSM processes & ServiceNow
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
SnowPro Core certification preferred
