Responsibilities

Manages, Plans, creates, organizes, tracks, and expedites the outsourcing of part repair

Develops, evaluates, recommends, and manages repair vendors, ongoing relationships, and quality

Review, negotiate, approve vendor quotes, and support management of vendor contractual obligations

Periodically analyze and discuss program performance periodically

Meet or exceed all Procurement Key Performance Indicators

Communicate with various departments to manage the timely flow of parts (e.g. Program Management, Operations, Accounts Payable, Shipping, Quality, etc.)

Perform vendor and order management for assigned parts to proactively ensure customer commitments are maintained

Ensure each transaction is compliant with all purchasing policies and procedures

Support various departments with and participate in government and regulatory audits

Suggest and participate in continuous improvement activities to drive process efficiencies

Required

Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 6 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PC literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, & Access)

Preferred

Experience with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, Government contracting, or aviation procurement strongly preferred
