Froedtert Health is a regional health network that operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center. They are seeking a Clinical Research Compliance Consultant to be the primary contact for clinical research protocols, perform Medicare Coverage Analysis, and ensure billing compliance for research projects.

Responsibilities

Perform a comprehensive Medicare Coverage Analysis

Provide assistance to Froedtert Health departments to provide the hospitals pricing for research project needs

Help to identify and determine hospital operational and clinical feasibility

Provide pertinent education

Collaborate to develop a study billing plan to support billing compliance as necessary

Required

A minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is required

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required

Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)

Must exercise independent judgment

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to work in a team and demonstrated interpersonal skills

Must have general understanding of services that are standard of care in a hospital setting versus those that are research or innovative

Preferred

Hospital billing compliance experience is preferred

Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules is preferred

Medical auditing, billing, quality management, case management and/or consulting experience is preferred
