Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design and optimize database schemas
Write efficient SQL queries and manage database migrations
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and, optionally, GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with front-end and third-party services
Ensure proper API documentation and versioning
Perform debugging and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
Strong programming skills in Ruby
Proficiency in JavaScript
SQL and/or NoSQL data storage solutions experience
Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and management
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Familiar with troubleshooting and debugging applications
Advanced English
Preferred
Experience with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus
