Responsibilities

Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for systems enhancements and new solutions

Translate complex business processes into clear technical specifications for developers and testers

Partner with application development teams to ensure alignment between requirements and implementation

Conduct data analysis and mapping to support integration, migration, and reporting efforts

Support the design and maintenance of system documentation, process flows, and data models

Participate in system testing, UAT, and validation to ensure solutions meet defined business needs

Serve as a liaison between business users and development teams to facilitate communication and issue resolution

Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and recommending process or system improvements

Provide input into technology strategy, project estimation, and implementation planning

Required

A strong mix of analytical, technical, and communication skills with the ability to bridge business needs and technical execution

3–5 years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role in a large-scale enterprise or financial services environment

Experience with SQL and data analysis for troubleshooting, validation, and reporting

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

Ability to create clear technical documentation, process maps, and specifications for development teams

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems, with the ability to connect business processes to system capabilities and integration points

Experience in insurance or financial services, particularly with life insurance, annuities, or mutual fund products, and related regulatory processes

Working knowledge of data analysis, data quality validation, or SQL, with the ability to interpret and apply data insights to business or system solutions

Exposure to API integrations, ETL workflows, or digital transformation initiatives that drive operational excellence and client experience improvement

Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and integration/middleware platforms
