Responsibilities

Communicate clearly with engineering, production, and customer teams

Partner with operators, technicians, and supervisors on daily SMT operations

Program, set up, and optimize SMT equipment: printers, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow ovens, AOI

Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues

Build and debug reflow oven profiles (°F/°C)

Perform defect review, root-cause analysis, and develop pre- and post-build DFM reports

Support and program Selective Solder and Wave Solder equipment

Interpret 2D and 5DX X-ray images; programming experience is a plus

Handle label programming, barcodes, and traceability

Use Gerbers, CAD, and stencil design tools

Perform rework: hot air, BGA repair, PCA cleaning, soldering

Use AutoCAD or SolidWorks for assembly and fabrication drawings

Work directly with customer engineering groups to improve design and process performance
