Responsibilities
Operate a front-end loader to load customer trucks accurately and safely
Communicate directly with drivers and customers to ensure correct materials and load weights
Maintain organized, clearly marked stockpiles and loading areas
Assist with oversight of daily yard and plant operations as needed
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
Ensure accurate recordkeeping for loads, tickets, and materials
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all site safety protocols
Assist with material inventory, traffic flow, and general yard maintenance
Supervise operations or personnel in the absence of the foreman or plant manager
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience operating loaders or similar heavy equipment (quarry or aggregate experience preferred)
Prior experience loading customer trucks required
Customer service or dispatch experience (ability to interact professionally with truck drivers and customers)
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Knowledge of aggregate materials, stockpile management, and safe loading practices
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication, organization, and safety awareness
Preferred
Previous supervisory or lead experience a plus
