Responsibilities
Utilization of Lean Manufacturing tools to assist in preparing feasibility studies and ensure that costs incurred are justified. Leads continuous improvement projects
Interact with customer representatives in a professional manner to understand, develop and deliver unique requests in a collaborative manner
Confer with management and other related personnel to create designs and clarify or resolve any relevant issues
Develop methods and make recommendations to reduce cost without compromising the safety and quality standards to ensure increased efficiency and quality
Execute cost effective designs, research, and development work to the manufacturing process; including, assembly methods, production flow, and production equipment
Assists with determining the root causes for system inefficiencies and failures and makes recommendations for changes in designs and the related processing methodologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor in Industrial Engineering
5+ years Industrial Engineering experience
Valid driver's license required
Extremely well organized and should have the ability to identify problems and resolve them quickly
Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent organization, planning and implementation skills
Positive self-driven attitude with a high level of problem solving leadership, results oriented and deep level of experience with production techniques and product knowledge
Adaptable to accept new changes in the field of lean manufacturing and should remain abreast with the latest developments happening in that field
Excellent analytical skills combined with good negotiation and conflict management skills
Visual acuity (e.g., needed to prepare and analyze data, to transcribe documents, to view a computer, to read, to inspect objects, to operate machinery
Balancing (e.g. maintaining equilibrium when walking, climbing, crouching, etc.)
Stooping (e.g. bending the spine at the waist)
Reaching (e.g. reaching the arms or legs in any direction)
Repetitive motion of any part of the body
Kneeling, crouching or crawling
Manual Dexterity (e.g. picking, pinching, typing, or other working that uses fingers)
Grasping (e.g. use of hand to apply pressure)
Feeling (e.g. perceiving an object's size, shape, texture, etc.)
Climbing (e.g. ascending/descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, pole, etc. using feet and legs and hands/arms to climb)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to write complex documents in the English language
