The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) is dedicated to providing world-class service to approximately 1.5 million REALTORS® in the real estate industry. They are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Analyst to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606, focusing on non-dues revenue streams such as sponsorships and advertising.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606

Apply GAAP principles to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting

Track and reconcile non-dues revenue sources, including sponsorships, advertising, and service agreements

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and forecasts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Operations) to ensure revenue recognition compliance

Assist in month-end close activities related to revenue, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Support external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries related to revenue recognition

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue tracking and reporting efficiency

Maintain documentation of revenue recognition policies and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3+ years of experience in revenue accounting or financial analysis

Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and GAAP

Proficiency in Excel

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

CPA preferred

Experience with non-dues revenue streams is highly desirable

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) is a plus
