Responsibilities
Oversee all functions of the corporate finance department, including billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports for leadership review
Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
Analyze financial performance, variances, and cost trends to support business decisions
Manage internal controls, audit preparation, and compliance with accounting standards
Partner with department leaders on budgeting, reimbursement, and cost analysis
Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff to promote professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in healthcare
Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
Strong general ledger, financial reporting, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (Oracle, CPSI, or similar), and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
Preferred
CPA or Master's
2–4 years of hospital experience
