Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the billing department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of claims
Train, mentor, and evaluate billing staff to enhance performance and productivity
Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance
Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies
Analyze billing data and prepare reports for management to inform strategic decisions
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing and/or revenue cycle management, with supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of billing regulations, coding, and compliance standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Must possess the required level of skills and abilities to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts and sound reasoning to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job
Effective oral and written communications skills
Ability to write clear, concise and accurate correspondence
Must be able to perform basic operations on a computer within the Windows operating system
This position requires problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to multi-task
