Responsibilities

Build software for air vehicle systems, ground systems, and/or modeling and simulation systems that support production and research and development

Qualification

Required

Bachelors degree or above from an accredited college in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Experience programming in at least one computer programming language (e.g. C, C++, Python, or Java)
Must be a US citizen
Security Clearance: Secret

Preferred

Demonstrated experience with the following: Development of real-time systems or use of real-time operating systems (RTOS), such as Wind River VxWorks or Green Hills Integrity
The software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking)
Integrating hardware and software
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between software, hardware, and systems engineering
Experience working in DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience with configuration management tools like Gitlab/Github
Experience working on an agile software team
Experience working in a Linux environment
Experience with MBSE (Tools like Cameo, modeling standards such as UML, UAF, SysML, etc.)
Ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
Strong decision making and judgment
Oral and written communication skills
