The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating and modifying AutoCAD drawings, coordinating project management activities, and communicating with customers to identify specific project requirements.

Responsibilities
Create and modify manufacturing and assembly drawings in AutoCAD
Assist Estimator by reviewing customer drawings and developing BOMs for quoting purposes
Develop a working knowledge of the proprietary systems developed by the company for the various scopes of work including materials, fabrication techniques and what is necessary to execute the scope of work
Assist in the acquisition of building permits, if required by scope of work
Work independently and be self-motivated to perform the tasks necessary to promptly and efficiently complete tasks
Communicate with customers to identify specific project requirements
Possess exceptional computer related skills to navigate web-based project information
Utilize established company electronic directories (Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel) in the development of project submittal requirements
Represent the company in a positive and informative manner

Qualification
Required
Valid driver license
Pre-employment background check, including driving history
Experience in creating and modifying manufacturing and assembly drawings in AutoCAD
Ability to assist Estimator by reviewing customer drawings and developing BOMs for quoting purposes
Develop a working knowledge of proprietary systems for various scopes of work including materials and fabrication techniques
Ability to assist in the acquisition of building permits, if required by scope of work
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
