Site Coordinator/Research Specialist

Responsibilities
Support laboratory operations and ensure compliance with study protocol
Assist with participant enrollment, consent processes, and biosample management
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Provide support during autopsies
Prepare and submit Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs)
Enter and maintain accurate site data in study databases investigators requesting tissue
Manage the collection, labeling, storage, and transfer of biosamples and participant data to research
Reports to the Program Manager, TALS Study Pathologist, and TALS Principal Investigator to ensure study objectives, timelines, and deliverables are successfully met
Ensure accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards
Perform responsibilities with a high level of organization, accuracy, and interpersonal effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience in clinical research or health science discipline
Preferred
Two years of coordination experience in a research setting preferred
Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred
Experience working in an academic medical center preferred
