Responsibilities
Build, operate, integrate, test, and inspect highly reliable systems, including wire harnesses, cable assemblies, avionics assemblies, and circuit card assemblies
Read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as drawings, layouts, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists
Develop and improve manufacturing and installation instructions
Assure product and process quality by testing finished product and process capabilities
Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement corrective actions
Record work performed in a clear, precise, and complete manner
Assist with the development of production and improvement processes
Qualification
Required
2+ years of professional experience building/fabricating wire harnesses
2+ years of hands-on experience reviewing technical designs and working from drawings, schematics, layouts, assembly/procedures, master parts lists, and other controlled documentation
Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools
Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred
IPC and/or J-STD certification
Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing company or a precision manufacturing company
Soldering experience
